We’re honored to share that Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral has been recognized as Hilton Garden Inn Development of the Year as part of Hilton's 2025 Americas Development Awards.

This award celebrates the outstanding partnerships, innovation, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences that bring Hilton’s vision to life. Since celebrating its official opening in September 2025, the hotel has brought a fresh hospitality experience to Florida’s Space Coast with 156 guest rooms and suites, vibrant social spaces, curated local artwork, and the addition of J. Bird's Island Eatery, a coastal-inspired tiki bar and restaurant.

Thoughtfully designed for cruise travelers, families, and business guests alike, the property offers convenient access to Port Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, and unforgettable rocket launch views - all while paying tribute to Cape Canaveral’s spirit of innovation and exploration.

Hilton Garden Inn Hilton Head celebrated their grand re-opening following their renovation with a ribbon cutting and a Cocktails & Conversations networking event alongside valued partners and community leaders. With remarks from Bill Miles, CEO & President of the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, Alan Perry, Mayor of Hilton Head, Darren Tallent, Regional Vice President of McKibbon Hospitality, and Susana Cook, General Manager - the event brought together nearly 100 business leaders from the area.

Guests enjoyed curated bites and beverages from the hotel's talented team, sweet treats from Palmetto Pops, and live music by Whitley Deputy.
All attendees raved about the beautiful changes in the property, delicious food, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Today McKibbon Equities, McKibbon Places, and McKibbon Hospitality joined city officials and partners to celebrate the start of the dual-brand AC Hotel & Moxy Tampa Downtown - bringing 310 keys, vibrant retail, rooftop dining, and dynamic event space to the heart of Tampa’s Channel District.
Slated to open in early 2028, this project reflects our continued investment in Tampa Bay and our commitment to creating lifestyle-driven hospitality experiences - especially meaningful as we celebrate 100 years of McKibbon.
With Coastal Construction leading as general contractor, alongside a talented team of partners, this vision is officially underway.

On April 14, we proudly celebrated Iuliia Sintsova, Yagmur Gunaydin, and Daniela Reis Harary as they presented their final projects, reflected on their experiences, and graduated from the 2025–2026 Cooperative Learning Program.

Through the McKibbon Hospitality and USF School of Hospitality & Sport Management partnership, these students gained valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure across our hotels and corporate office - bridging academic learning with real-world application.

We commend their dedication and accomplishments throughout the program and look forward to the positive impact they will make as emerging leaders in the hospitality industry.
