Spring is around the corner and it’s looking to be a busy year! We are looking to start talking to folks interested in working as a laborer and were also looking to add a crew lead. This person would need experience in new residential and small commercial site work.

Laborer: this position will work with team leads to carry out daily job tasks and installation of site work and utilities. This can range from dirt movement, grading, pipe installation, machine maintenance, jobsite cleanup, winter storm maintenance. Etc. no experience is required but helpful. Must have transportation and a will do work ethic.

Team Lead: this position is for someone with previous experience in leading a site work and utility crew. This person will be responsible for meeting with management to discuss schedules and weekly goals, review jobs and order material, communicate with building team, installation of site work and utilities required on the project, maintain job schedules and installation practice that meet and exceed standards and local codes. Must have clean driving record to be issued a company truck. Must be able to communicate and manage small residential and commercial project work load.

We are looking to hire a laborer for our predominantly Carroll county work load. Job consists of assisting foreman is daily jobsite duties including manual labor, utility installation, maintain equipment, and other various tasks. Must have reliable transportation. Site Foreman

Terra Rubra is looking for a construction foreman work with and supervise crew members. The foreman will be responsible for performing installations with team members and will work closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction work. They will also maintain construction schedules, work with outsides trades, coordinate with property managers to complete tasks on schedule and within allotted budgets. The candidate should be extremely organized with excellent time management, leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Objectives of this role
* Complete job tasks on schedule and within budget.
* Maintain company equipment and tools.
* Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed on construction sites
* Consult regularly with team, project owners to maintain a health work status.
* Ensure all construction projects stay on schedule, remain within the budget, and are completed successfully
* Calculate productivity rates and report project status to supervisors

Responsibilities
* Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
* manage schedules and monitor attendance of the crew
* Oversee construction sites and supervise the use of machinery and equipment
* Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers according to priorities and plans
* Emphasize safe use of all tools and equipment and enforce the proper use of safety gear, like helmets and goggles
* Manage employees to ensure the project is kept on schedule

Skills and qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of construction procedures.
* Advance skill in equipment operations and maintenance (skid loader, excavators, loaders, off road dump trucks)
* Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and construction plans
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills

* In-depth knowledge of safety guidelines and best practices
* Strong managerial skills with a warm personality

Job Listing: Laborer

We are seeking to bring on board a laborer to work with our team performing site work for residential homes.

Laborer Job Responsibilities:

Performs various physical duties as assigned.
Maintain all safety standards.
Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.
Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
Operating light equipment such as skid steer or mini excavator depending on the jobsite/assignment.
Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor.
Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or by supervisor.

Common tasks are foundation excavation, backfills, utilities, storm water management, grading, and dirt moving.

Qualifications/Skills:

Although residential experience would be preferred a basic knowledge of construction tools is a minimum. A can do mentality and willingness to learn is most important!

Reliable transportation is required.

Pay based on experience. PTO and holiday pay also available as well as room for growth within the company.
