Happy 50th birthday to my beloved, Matthew Ryan. It’s been an honor to celebrate him in real life this week, so I’m a tad belated here.

Matthew is an outstanding human, partner, father, and friend. He is always doing his best to show up fully and be present. His compassion for others is a rare quality. He consistently makes me want to be a better person.

The love he gives me has changed my perspective on life and what is possible. Maybe that’s why I thought it would be possible—and even a great idea—to host a surprise party for him the day I returned from a weeklong silent retreat.

Everyone deserves to know how loved and cherished they are on their birthday, but especially Matthew, who showed nothing but love and support for my plan to miss his actual birthday so I could attend this retreat.

I’m so grateful for all our friends and Matthew’s kids, who showed up strong on a Tuesday night to celebrate. And nobody blew the surprise!!! We did it!

Cheers to 50, love. ❤️💃🎉

All humans are curious, but we can turn it off, one way being seperation from nature.

“A short attention span is a symption of nature deficit disorder”, according to Zack Bush on the Joe Rogan podcast episode #2529.

Zack also said “It’s been shown three nights of camping outside, not going inside for three days, and your immune system revers 30 years.”

This interview was so confirming of the path I am on, the work I am doing, and inspired to to get back to being curious. I highly recommend listening to it!

Grounding and morning sun are part of my protocols lately for clients, and after the recovery I have seen for myself, a big hike once a week, should be in there, too.

Reconnect to nature = reconnecting to yourself.

I’ve learned a lot in holistic health, but the biggest one I have felt so deeply was that a lot of what’s happening in my body is correlated to my sensitive nervous system. For a long time I thought it was a curse, but I have learned and continue to learn it’s actually a gift.

I went on this deep dive for me and my clients. The nervous system is something that we should be looking at as a root cause. It becomes a barrier to detox and healing if the body doesn’t feel safe to let go.

I also have been loving working out, but I know that intense workouts can cause stress on the body. There is a fine line in finding the sweet spot between regeneration and stress. Hands-down, the most important thing I have seen to increase recovery and reduce stress is restorative sleep. This is where we regenerate.

I’ve been using a device Elonga to track my regeneration and stress levels by measuring HRV, heart rate variability.

It’s only three minutes a day right when I wake up. Perfect time to set intentions and do some gratitude. I’m not gonna wear our device all day or while I sleep. But I do love data!

My code is in my bio Link. And it will get you 10% off and a free year to the app. This is a super affordable way to really learn about your individual body and how to function at your most optimal level!

Drop your questions below. I would love to know how you staying peaceful stress free in this world?

In this crazy world of ours, laughter is one of the most healing things we have to help break through the heaviness and density. I’m also really loving movement, getting stronger, and finding simple ways to take care of my body.

One of my latest favorites is this basil seed pudding. It can be ready in about two hours, or you can make it the night before and have a nourishing little treat waiting for you the next day.

Basil seeds become wonderfully gelatinous when soaked and are naturally rich in fiber, plant-based omega-3 fats, minerals, and a little protein. They’re especially supportive for digestion, regularity, hydration, and helping you feel satisfied.

I use:

½ cup Forager Organic Unsweetened Plain Cashew & Coconut Yogurt
½ cup water
2 tablespoons basil seeds
Cinnamon
Dried goji berries

Sometimes I also mix in a little Dark Berry Protein for an extra protein boost. It’s my favorite protein because of how clean and thoughtfully sourced the ingredients are, and it tastes so good in this!

Mix everything together and refrigerate for at least two hours.

Sometimes taking care of yourself really can be this simple: laugh, move your body, and make yourself something nourishing. 💚

And if you’d like to try the Dark Berry Protein, let me know. I have a coupon for $50 off your first order!

Nervous system health has been a big focus for me lately, so when I came across the Elonga device, I was curious.

What I like is that it only takes about 3 minutes.

You place the sensor on your arm, open the app, and it measures your HRV (heart rate variability) to give you insights into stress, recovery, and how your nervous system is doing that day.

I’m not interested in wearing a device that tracks me 24/7. What I like about Elonga is that it gives me a quick snapshot, and then I move on with my day. For me, it’s another tool for awareness—not something I need to be connected to all the time.

I’ve been enjoying seeing the patterns and learning more about how my body responds to stress, sleep, travel, and daily life.

Today is the last day of the promotion:

• Device is $99 (normally $149)
• Includes 1 year of Elonga Plus+ free

I also have an additional 10% discount code: BIOHACK

If you’d like my link, send me a message and I’ll get it over to you.

Healing comes from a calm nervous system.
Creation comes from a calm nervous system.

That was one of the big pieces that landed for me this week in the nervous system mastermind I’m in.

We hear a lot of talk about healing, growth, manifestation, creativity, and becoming the next version of ourselves, but we don’t always talk about the foundation underneath all of that.

The nervous system.

Because on the flip side, being in a group, relationship, or environment that isn’t regulated can create more stress and harm to the nervous system. And I don’t think we talk about that enough.

We need community. We are wired for connection.
But not all community is nourishing.

Some community fills your cup.
Some community drains it.

Some spaces help you exhale and feel safe enough to be present.
Others keep your body bracing, scanning, and trying to figure out what’s coming next.

That doesn’t mean we all have to agree. Healthy, regulated community doesn’t mean everyone has the same opinions or beliefs.
It means there is enough safety to listen.

Enough presence to stay open.
Enough regulation to have real, uplifting conversations without needing to defend, collapse, or disconnect.

The same is true in relationships.

When you are in relationship with someone who is calm and regulated, that steadiness can become a rock. Not someone who fixes you, but someone whose presence gives your system enough safety to begin doing its own healing.
That is the power of co-regulation.

Our nervous system is always looking for what is familiar. So if chaos, tension, judgment, or emotional unpredictability has been familiar, calm might not feel normal at first.

But the more we practice regulation, the more we can start seeing through a different lens.

We are always looking through the lens of our own beliefs, experiences, and old patterns. But regulation gives us access to presence, no greater gift to give to ourselves and others.

I have been been internal lately, working on my own healing path while still seeing clients, but knowing there was something waiting to be brought forward in my business soon….you could say it’s right on the horizon. 🏔️

The past 6 years, I’ve loved helping people nourish their bodies, detoxify, remove parasites, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect to their health in a deeper way.

Something I’ve been learning even more lately is how important it is to truly listen to the body.

Not override it.
Not force it.
Not shame it.
Not disconnect from it.
Actually listen.

I have been training with Julia at The Body Shop, LLC since February and I greatly appreaciate that she understands that too.

Movement doesn’t have to mean punishment. Although I did request for some extra atomic situps in class this week, lol.

Pushing yourself doesn’t have to mean ignoring your nervous system.

Strength building doesn’t have to disconnect you from your intuition.

Seeing my own strength grow again has felt incredibly empowering. I have found it can even correlate to feeling safer in my body.

Especially as we age, strength matters.
Muscle matters.
Mobility matters.
Balance matters.
Circulation matters.
Confidence matters.

If we don’t move, we lose it.

After months of conversations, I’m so excited for a new offering to bloom for June.

More details coming soon. I’m really excited!!!

I have been in a small group of amazing women doing research on the nervous system. This was week 3 and we took a look at how the nervous system relates the cell and our mitochondria.

One of the biggest aha moments I had this week came from Sherist bringing forward the concept of the “Cell Danger Response.” It connected so many dots for me.

The research basically explains that when the body perceives danger, whether from trauma, chronic stress, toxins, infections, emotional overwhelm, environmental chemicals, or even unresolved nervous system dysregulation, the cells shift out of healing mode and into protection mode.

This is the same, yet different, from what I’ve seen through regenerative health work for years.

So many of us are trying to heal while our body is still signaling survival.

Our digestion changes.
Our hormones shift.
Our inflammation stays elevated.
Our nervous system stays hypervigilant.
Our detox pathways slow down.
Our body tightens, protects, guards.

Not because the body is broken.
Because the body is adaptive.

One of the most powerful lines from the research paper I read was: “Only when a cell perceives safety can it heal completely.”

That sentence explains why nervous system regulation matters so much.

Why emotional processing matters.
Why trauma work matters.
Why somatic work matters.
Why mitochondrial health matters.
Why detoxification has to be approached carefully and intelligently.

This is also why I believe regenerative health can’t only focus on food or supplements alone. The body, mind, emotions, nervous system, terrain, and environment are all connected.

We also can’t just be doing the spiritual and somatic work and not be detoxifying the body. We have to find the balance between it all.

The deeper I go into this research, the more I realize my body has always been communicating with me.

And, we are all perfect just as we are, and we get to be on this journey. No one is broken. All the parts of us make us whole.

💚

You’re doing everything right… so why aren’t you feeling better?

You’re eating clean.
You’re trying.
You’re paying attention.

And something still feels off.
It’s not your diet. It’s not your workouts.

Your body may still be carrying what hasn’t been addressed.

Most people focus on what they’re doing.
I look at what your body is still holding.
• toxic load
• nervous system stress
• stored emotional patterns

When those aren’t supported, the body can’t fully respond—no matter how “healthy” you are.

This is the work I do.

I help people get to the root of what’s keeping them stuck so their body can actually start responding again.

If this is landing for you, we can start with a simple 15-minute call and see what your body might actually need.
