L3 (pronounced "L-cubed") is a small business focusing on a safe environment to explore, handle, shoot firearms, and learn about personal protection inside and outside of the home. In addition to Basic Pistol Shooting, I also conduct Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home, and Refuse to Be a Victim courses. In that my father and brother served in the Marine Corps, I grew up around firearm
s of all types. In addition, I have been an accomplished instructor within corporate America, so it’s a natural fit that I combine these two skill sets by starting L3, LLC - Ladies, Locked & Loaded. L3 is a firearms training program owned and taught by women, for women. Here in Virginia, the majority of homes in rural areas have at least one firearm, and likely more, in the residence. In most cases, the owner of the firearm is a man and the woman in the house is unfamiliar with its safe handling, use and storage. L3 aims to not only familiarize the woman with the firearm, but also its deployment and use should the situation arise, thus empowering her to be a full partner in the overall security of the family and property. My programs are beneficial to all women interested in establishing a confident understanding of firearms safety and operation, regardless of their locality.
