Where's my Refund is not always accurate.
If you want to check the status of your refund, it's better to read your tax transcript.
Below are the instructions to do so 👇🏾
1️⃣ Search IRS.gov in your Google search engine.
2️⃣ Log into your IRS account. If you do not have an account. You would have to create an account.
3️⃣ Once you are logged in, choose the reason for pulling your transcript, then hit go(You don't need to enter a customer file number)
4️⃣Click on “Account transcripts" for year 2022
5️⃣ scroll to the bottom of your tax transcript and you should see code 846/Refund Issued/and the date.

👉🏾Code 766: Credit to your account
👉🏾Code 846: Refund Issued
👉🏾826: Refund used to pay debt
👉🏾570: Process Holding
👉🏾571: Hold Removed
👉🏾420/424: Examination - Possible Audit
👉🏾971: Notice Letter Sent Out
👉🏾151: refund reduced
👉🏾Code 150: tax return was filed which means the return has started processing and posted to your account.
