New Year, New Updates
Recently, I’ve taken time to review last year’s operations and identify areas for improvement moving forward. As part of these updates, I will be implementing a price increase on my main products to reflect changes in costs and ensure continued quality of service.
Unfortunately, I experienced several instances last year where payments were not received from clients for work completed. While the amounts were relatively small ($400 or less), they have underscored the need for stronger business policies. To address this, all future projects will require a signed contract and full payment upfront.
Additionally, one client is using a design on Facebook without payment for the services rendered. To protect my work, all design proofs will now include a copyright watermark and be provided in low resolution. The high-resolution file will be released once the project is completed and paid in full.
Any additional electronic copies will be charged at $5 per file, and printed copies will be billed according to square-foot pricing.
Please understand these updates are not directed at any individual client. They are being applied consistently to all, to protect the integrity and sustainability of my business. Even long-time customers are included in these new policies, as consistency is essential for fairness and accountability.
