Introducing the Leader-First® Leadership Summit Leaders!

Each day, we’re highlighting the outstanding leaders who will gather with us this September to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to leading with purpose. Today, we’re proud to feature Zandra Washington, Founder of IvyLives, LLC and a Crescent Leadership Collaborator and Anchor, whose leadership career spans more than three decades of guiding complex nonprofit organizations through transition, growth, and cultural realignment.

Zandra brings a distinctive combination of operational discipline, governance fluency, and steady executive presence. Throughout her career, she has been called on to help organizations navigate moments that require both stability and forward movement.

Most recently, Zandra served as Director of Council Partnerships for Girl Scouts of the USA, where she advised and coached 30 council CEOs nationwide. In that role, she helped strengthen executive performance, board alignment, and strategic ex*****on, while also designing onboarding frameworks to help incoming CEOs step into their roles with greater clarity and effectiveness.

Previously, as Chief Operations Officer for Girl Scouts of Citrus, Zandra oversaw a broad portfolio spanning HR, membership, marketing, IT, programs, camps, and property management. She partnered closely with the CEO and Board on strategic priorities, governance, and operational modernization, including leading through major enterprise-wide initiatives.

Today, through IvyLives, LLC and her work as a Crescent Leadership Collaborator and Anchor, Zandra continues to support organizations and leaders navigating complexity, transition, and change.

She is especially known for her calm, structured approach in high-pressure environments. Zandra leads with clarity, fairness, and accountability, helping teams rebuild trust, strengthen professional norms, and regain confidence and direction without creating disruption for its own sake.

We’re looking forward to having Zandra in the room and to the perspective she will bring on executive leadership, organizational transition, governance, and leading with steadiness when the stakes are high.

Introducing the Leader-First® Leadership Summit Leaders!

Each day, we’re highlighting the outstanding leaders who will gather with us this September to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to leading with purpose. Today, we’re proud to feature Delailah Fajardo-Rosencrans, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Central California South and a nonprofit leader deeply committed to expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and bringing people together around a shared mission.

Delailah leads a council serving more than 7,000 Girl Scout members across five counties in California’s Central Valley. A proud Central Valley native with more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, she has built her career around creating meaningful opportunities for young people and strengthening the organizations and communities that support them.

Since joining Girl Scouts of Central California South in 2024 as Chief Mission Delivery Officer, Delailah has led efforts to expand access to high-quality Girl Scout experiences, strengthen membership and volunteer support, and deepen the council’s connection with the communities it serves.

Prior to Girl Scouts, Delailah held leadership roles with Community Justice Alliance, AMOR, the Alliance for Medical Outreach and Relief, and the Boy Scouts of America, Sequoia Council. Across these roles, she has become known for an authentic, collaborative leadership style and an ability to connect people around a common purpose.

As Interim CEO, Delailah is focused on building a strong future for Girl Scouts across the Central Valley and ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to discover her strengths, find her voice, and build the courage and confidence to lead.

Her belief that the greatest impact happens when people work together is captured in a simple idea that guides her leadership: Better Together.

We’re looking forward to having Delailah in the room and to the perspective she will bring on mission-driven leadership, community connection, and leading through collaboration.

Introducing the Leader-First® Leadership Summit Leaders!

Each day, we’re highlighting the outstanding leaders who will gather with us this September to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to leading with purpose. Today, we’re proud to feature Lutricia Eberly, an association executive, entrepreneur, and community leader whose work bridges hospitality, tourism strategy, outdoor recreation, and cross-cultural leadership.

Lutricia serves as Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Recreation Association, a statewide trade association representing outdoor recreation providers across Pennsylvania. As the organization’s sole staff member, she works closely with a volunteer board while balancing advocacy, strategy, member engagement, and the day-to-day work of moving an organization forward.

Her entrepreneurial work reaches well beyond Pennsylvania. Lutricia is also the co-founder of Complete Safaris, a boutique business that creates custom safari itineraries in Kenya, drawing on her experience in hospitality, relationship-building, and cross-cultural connection.

Lutricia is deeply engaged in civic and industry leadership. She chairs the Tourism Committee for the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation and serves as Board Chair for Leadership Cumberland. Her service also includes leadership roles with the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association and Meeting Professionals International, where she contributes at both the chapter and international levels.

Her foundation in hospitality began with 14 years in the ski industry, but one experience that continues to shape her leadership came later, while working for a girl-focused nonprofit. There, Lutricia helped transform a struggling volunteer program into a strong team capable of delivering sold-out youth experiences. The experience reinforced something that remains central to her leadership today: when people are trusted, supported, and given the opportunity to build their capability, meaningful results follow.

We’re looking forward to having Lutricia in the room and to the perspective she will bring on entrepreneurial leadership, community building, and leading across organizations, cultures, and communities.

Introducing the Leader-First® Leadership Summit Leaders!

Each day, we’re highlighting the outstanding leaders who will gather with us this September to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to leading with purpose. Today, we’re proud to feature Amanda Hoerner, Associate Partner at PhiloWilke Partnership, whose leadership is grounded in collaboration, trust, and a strong commitment to both people and performance.

Amanda brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to the business side of the firm. She is known for solving challenges, strengthening systems, and contributing as a true teammate. Her leadership philosophy reflects a preference for collaboration over hierarchy and a belief that strong organizations are built when people feel trusted, heard, and invested in the work together.

One of Amanda’s significant career milestones came during the COVID year, when she led the transition to a more modern, electronic accounting system. That work helped position the firm to operate more effectively while keeping pace with evolving industry practices.

Her connection to PhiloWilke is also deeply personal. After spending time working in the oil and gas industry, Amanda chose to return to the firm because of the trust, community, and sense of shared purpose she found there.

Amanda’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional role. After losing her mother to colon cancer in 2016, she became increasingly involved in charitable efforts supporting families navigating serious health challenges. She has volunteered with Ronald McDonald House and continues to support causes including the MD Anderson Boot Walk, often involving her children in these efforts as a way of honoring her mother’s legacy.

As a working mom, Amanda is also intentional about modeling balance, wellness, and strong boundaries for her family.

We’re looking forward to having Amanda in the room and to the perspective she will bring on collaborative leadership, organizational stewardship, and leading with both discipline and humanity.

Each day, we’re highlighting the outstanding leaders who will gather with us this September to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to leading with purpose. Today, we’re proud to feature Beth Casey, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council and a lifelong champion for leadership, service, and community impact.

Beth’s connection to Girl Scouts began early. She grew up in the movement, earning both her Silver Award and Gold Award, and has now spent 34 years building a career within Girl Scouts. She began as a program specialist supervising resident camp programs and has been with Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council for the past 18 years.

As CEO, Beth leads with deep institutional knowledge, a strong commitment to mission, and decades of experience helping girls and communities thrive. Her leadership extends well beyond Girl Scouts. She serves as a West Virginia Rotary Assistant Governor, sits on the board of directors for her local Rotary Club, serves as a trustee for the West Virginia Nature Conservancy, and is Vice Chair of the West Virginia Nonprofit Association.

Each day, we’re highlighting the outstanding leaders who will gather with us this September to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to leading with purpose.

Today, we’re proud to feature Zak Tomlinson, a trusted advocate for first responders and a leader whose work spans law, public policy, and service.

Zak is a Senior Associate with Ferrone Law Group, where he represents first responders throughout California. His practice focuses on complex injury litigation, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment matters, and disability retirement.

Throughout his career, Zak has recovered tens of millions of dollars for first responders and their families. His advocacy also extends beyond the courtroom. Before joining Ferrone Law Group, Zak built a diverse professional foundation through work in private equity, criminal defense, and a sports agency representing UFC fighters. He graduated in the top 10% of his class from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law and earned membership in the Order of the Coif.

Long before his legal career, Zak was also a collegiate quarterback at the University of La Verne, where he graduated early with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management.

This week we wrapped up a nine-month Evolving Strategy and Annual Planning engagement with Girl Scouts of Citrus.

What began with listening sessions, stakeholder engagement, assessments, data review, and honest conversations evolved into something much more than a strategic plan. Together, we built a shared vision for the future and translated that aspiration into an actionable annual plan designed to move the work forward immediately.

One of the things we appreciated most about this engagement was the commitment to keeping girls at the center of every conversation. While organizational systems, volunteers, leadership, governance, and sustainability all matter, the team never lost sight of the ultimate purpose—creating experiences that ignite curiosity, foster leadership, and help girls build courage, confidence, and character.

The strategy's vision, "To ignite curiosity in every girl through exploration and leadership," emerged from the voices of staff, volunteers, board members, and community stakeholders who care deeply about the future of Girl Scouting in Central Florida.

Our gratitude goes to the leadership team, board, staff, and volunteers who leaned into the process with openness, courage, and a genuine desire to build something meaningful together. Strategy only matters when people are willing to do the hard work of bringing it to life, and this team has demonstrated exactly that. Now the real work begins.

We're excited to watch this next chapter unfold and to see the impact these efforts will have on the girls and communities they serve for years to come.
