Sorry y’all, we shut the shop down today for some family pumpkin painting! 🎃🖌️ Apparently painting metal all week wasn’t enough, so we switched materials and let Wyatt take over quality control. Judging by his face and arms, the pumpkin wasn’t the only project. 😂

Randy and I are also celebrating our wedding anniversary a few days early since it falls in the middle of the week! 🖤 So I’m temporarily trading my shop clothes for something that doesn’t come with grinding dust and metal shavings.

The metal can wait a day. Today we’re making memories, letting Wyatt paint everything within reach, and celebrating another year of Randy being legally committed to this s**tshow. 😂🖤🥂

The grand finale of feral trophy construction: THEY’RE DONE! 🎲🔥🖤

In true me fashion, somewhere between doing 50 million things at once and trying to document the process, I forgot to DOCUMENT THE PROCESS. 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

Grinding off the welds? Not filmed.
Welding the dice onto the bases? Not filmed.
Cutting out the placements? Not filmed.
Welding the placements onto the bases? ALSO not filmed.
Painting the dice? Apparently that was classified information too. 😂

At this point, you’re getting a documentary with half the evidence missing. Basically, I took the government’s approach to the Epstein files—except my missing footage is just grinding and poor time management. 🙃😂

What I DO have is a little test fit, the first batch of placement numbers that were way too small for my liking—what is this, a trophy for ANTS?!—a mid-paint picture, and the finished beauties! 👀🤘🏻

There’s also a video showing off that pearl paint, because these babies deserve their moment to shine. Pictures alone don’t get to have all the fun. ✨

They made it to their destination, AND my friend Daniel and the one and only Fat Tuesday brought home SECOND PLACE! Congratulations, you two! 🥈🖤

I also included a picture of all the winners! Congratulations to everyone, and thank y’all for giving these trophies something to celebrate! 🏆

From a flat sheet of metal to somebody’s hard-earned trophy. The dice are polished, the winners are celebrating, and I’m accepting nominations for someone to follow me around and remind me to hit RECORD. 😂🎲🖤

Happy Hump Day! We’re halfway through the week and elbow-deep in feral trophy construction. 😂🎲🔥

Today we’re fitting and welding the dice together! Turns out you can’t just slap the pieces together and tell them to act like a cube. You have to make sure everything fits right, line things up, and occasionally introduce a stubborn corner to the hammer. Some pieces need a little more convincing than others. 🙃🔨

Then, when you’re fantastic and prepared like me, you run out of wire in the welder… and have absolutely ZERO extra on hand. 👏🏻😂

Trip into town it is! Because apparently this project needed a side quest. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The dice are coming together, even if my supply planning is not. Stay tuned! 🖤🤘🏻

Tonight’s episode of feral trophy construction: approximately 700 tiny welds and a personal test of patience. 😂🔥

It’s officially TUESDAY, and I think I got my s**t together today! Yesterday’s aggressive Monday vibes had me so scrambled I thought it was a whole different day. I did recover, just FYI. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

The bases are getting welded together! Fun fact: with this thin metal, it’s basically tack weld, move, tack weld, repeat until you question all your life choices. Running one big long bead would melt the metal, and surprise holes are ZERO fun. 🙃

Another fun fact: I missed filming some steps, so y’all don’t get to watch me grind all this s**t off. Please respect my privacy during this difficult time—you’ll have to imagine the sparks and my declining enthusiasm. 😂🤘🏻

It’s been busy and crazy around here, but these trophies are coming together! Finished-product post coming soon… and I cannot WAIT to show y’all what this pile of metal turned into. 👀🎲🖤

Update: it is only Monday, so excuse me while I go have a late night wh***ey and hope the rest of the week runs better 🤦...

Update: it is only Monday, so excuse me while I go have a late night wh***ey and hope the rest of the week runs better 🤦🏻‍♀️😭😅

I had a trophy update planned for today… but instead, please enjoy this photo of a woman approximately one computer freeze away from becoming a local news story. 🙃😂

It’s late. Nothing on the plasma table has gone to plan. My computer decided it wanted to cosplay as a government employee—three breaks, zero urgency, and every task apparently needs approval from a department that closed at 4. 😑

So here I am, rage-cutting metal when my ass should be in bed, because I have a timeline in my head that’s supposed to keep everything running smoothly.

Does anything actually run smoothly? Absolutely 🦊ing not.
Will my stubborn ass still try to stick to that timeline? Apparently, yes. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This Tuesday is having some aggressive Monday vibes, and I am having some equally aggressive wh***ey temptations. 🥃

For now, we’re powered by spite, safety glasses, and the delusion that “one more cut” means I’m almost done.

Also… does anyone want to sponsor a computer that runs Fusion 360 and FireControl smoothly? Asking for a friend. 😅😂

Trophy update coming when the equipment and I finish our disagreement. 😂

Tonight’s episode of feral trophy construction: convincing five separate pieces of metal to behave like ONE trophy base. 😂🔥

Each base has four sides and a top that I have to fit together, hold in place, and tack weld so everybody stays where they belong. Basically a metal group project, and I’m the only one doing the work. 🙃

If you’ve ever wondered why trophies with these bases cost a little extra… this is why! These little troublemakers take TIME. 👀

This video is just step ONE of putting the bases together: tack welding. There are still TWO more steps after this. Apparently looking this cool requires a whole production. 😅🤘🏻

And you’re welcome for my crappy camera angles. 😂 Maybe one day I’ll grow up and figure out how to keep what I’m doing IN THE FRAME. Until then, enjoy this limited-view tour of my questionable filming skills. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Handmade, powered by stubbornness, and absolutely refusing to assemble themselves. 🖤🎲

Tonight’s episode of feral trophy construction: bending metal by hand and trying to paint places that will soon be ridiculously hard to reach. 🎲😂

Yep, still bending these little troublemakers by hand because my equipment’s still broke, and the press that could actually be useful is still living its best life… unassembled. 😅🙃 Apparently it’s not going to put itself together. Rude.

Also getting primer on the sides that’ll be INSIDE the dice before putting them together. Getting paint in there afterward is like trying to paint a room through the keyhole, so I’m giving the metal a little protection while I can still get to it. Then I’ll do my best to cover whatever primer gets burned off when I weld them together. 🤘🏻

We’re officially going from flat pieces to dice, powered by stubbornness, hand strength, and equipment that has chosen not to participate. 🖤🔥

Tonight’s episode of feral trophy construction: grinding off all the crusty bulls**t left from cutting. 🔥😂

The bases and dice pieces are getting cleaned up, because apparently “fresh off the plasma table” isn’t a finished look. 🙄

Just me, the grinder, and a pile of metal that needs to get its s**t together before we start assembling these bad boys. 🎲🤘🏻

We’re one step closer to badass trophies, and several steps closer to being completely over this grinding s**t. 🖤
