Rule of Thumb: Avoid Motion Backgrounds During a Sermon

1. Minimize Distraction
Moving visuals pull attention away from the message.

➡️ If it moves, people watch it—not listen.

2. Support, Don’t Compete
Backgrounds should reinforce the sermon, not overpower it.

➡️ Simplicity keeps the focus on the speaker and Scripture.

3. Preserve Clarity & Readability
Motion can make text harder to read and follow.
➡️ Still backgrounds ensure everyone can engage easily.

✅ Rule of Thumb:
If it doesn’t help people hear better, it doesn’t belong.

-Proper speaker placement
-Proper balanced EQ & system tuning

2. Controlled stage volume.
-Lower stage volume helps FOH stay clean
-Vocals sit on top of instrument’s
-Livestream sound controlled

3. Separate mix for stream
-Stream Needs it own mix (not room mix)
-Natural acoustics
