Amanda Hecker - Diversity Training and Education I provide training and educational services to corporations and organizations that are interested in My primary goals are :

1.

To help businesses develop and implement transgender friendly policies and procedures to make hiring and employing transgender and gender fluid persons a seamless and profitable endeavor. I provide educational training presentations and policy consulting services for Human Resource professionals and the general employee population.

2. To educate the general public regarding the transgender community and what it means to be transgender.

Such a great time tonight at the book launch party for “Standing Out” held at Venture X. It’s nice to talk with all the contributors and curators. We all signed each other’s books. It was kind of like getting my yearbook signed in high school! Valerie Bittner always livens things up!

Really interesting day today. I was on a tv show called Pocono Mountains Magazine with Catherine Thayer from LGBTQPRIDE. I have been on tv before but never on a talk show. This was really fun.

LGBTQPRIDE is a 501c3 non profit organization that promotes education and support for LGBTQ people and their families. They would be a worthwhile target for your end of year charitable donations. Www.lgbtqpride.org

Had a very enjoyable time this past Tuesday and Wednesday providing Transgender education presentations to the folks at Edison Court Inc and others in the youth services profession. The presentations were well attended and the attendees very engaging and receptive. It's personally rewarding for me to help clear the fog of confusion and uncertainty regarding the trans community. Many thanks to everyone who was there.
