⚡️2016 ⚡️

I met fell deeply in love on our 2nd date then he left on a 7 week expedition to remote Alaska. Our 3rd date consisted of me joining him in Paris as he filmed Parisian Rap and rooftop parkour while I worked remotely from our hotel room. We took a week off after and played in the French countryside.

I worked around 65+ hours a week as Head of Experience Design at an SF based company producing experiences for SF & Silicone Valley’s Tech Companies in their Haydays of ample and very fun budgets.
I sat as a VP on the board of the International Live Event Association and loved the ritual of driving up to meetings in wine country, dancing along to my eclectic playlists in my little convertible.

I made a vision board at an event and thought long and hard on whether to add the NatGeo photo of an adventurous mom and her kids. In the end I didn’t glue it on…. I didn’t feel ready. But I kept the photo. Look at me now 🙃

I had many ridiculously fun adventures with that often started with us scheming on her SF rooftop.

I brought and my skateboard along on a business trip to Austin. My boss was not a fan.

I lived in an SF Co-Op with backyard chickens

I worked backstage at Lightning in a Bottle - staying connected with long time friends within the transformative music festival scene which defined much of my twenties

I volunteered for the Bioneers Conference, of which I have long been a fan.

I went to Burningman for the 7th time

I traveled to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Colombia & Austen, TX

2016 | The Year that shifted so much for me in the most beautiful ways

& I are figuring out what our life heavy with travel while working in film & production looks like with a baby and I’m psyched to share that we’ve been able to work on several fun productions together in 2025 including this Plimsoll Production for Netflix airing end of this month. We’re grateful for our amazing daycare, nannies, friends & family who have made this possible.

I also love the number of friends who have reached out saying they’ll happily travel with us to watch our kiddo. My favorite part? It’s mostly our guy friends and I joke that I am keeping a list of MAN-AU-PAIRS

Our little guy has arrived! Suddenly, our capacity to love has been redefined, rewritten, and expanded in ways I never could have imagined.

We are deep in it—compoundingly sleep-deprived, love-drunk, and, in his case, milk-drunk—and so, so deeply overjoyed. Not many days go by without at least one of us tearing up a little as we gaze at our little guy, whispering sweet nothings to him while dreaming of all the adventures we’ll have together as a family.

Birth has left me in awe—the raw power of the female body, the force of life growing within me and then the initiation & surrender as he emerged from me and into our arms. It has given me an unshakable new level of respect for all the mamas who have come before me. I see you! And… just wow. I am deeply humbled.

I will never forget the thrill & awe of watching him passing through the threshold via a strategically placed mirror - his wrinkled face, his cone head from 4 hours of pushing, and feeling the surprising heft of his little still blue body suddenly releasing from my 9 month cradle.

What was two has become three. Now, we truly are a family. Each day, Pablo & I watch as he comes more and more online—his tiny arms hugging us, tickling us as we hold him, his sweet, deep piercing eyes locking with ours before dancing around curiously as he explores the world around him.

And don’t even get me started on his little feet! They are just… the… CUTEST.

From the very beginning, everyone has exclaimed how alert and engaged he is. It seems he is beyond excited to be here and to discover the world alongside us.
Sweet little Iñaki, so are we. We are so totally and utterly smitten with you.

We’ve got a little one on the way!

What?!?! Yes, I’m pregnant with a little baby boy & and even at 32 weeks I’m still in both disbelief and complete awe. Even crazier is that if baby is as eager as I was (5 weeks early) it could be here as soon as 3 weeks ✨

We are beyond excited and let’s be real, nervous too 😊

While I like to think I’ve had a pretty adventurous life so far, somehow this feels like the biggest adventure of all… even though so, so many humans and animals have done this before us. All my adult life I’ve made it a priority to create a life of independence and a sense of daily freedom, but I feel more ready than ever to explore what some have described as “the most meaningful and profound experience of their life” with the confidence of having the most wonderful and supportive man by my side. While things will certainly change, I trust that Pablo and I will continue to creatively embrace an adventurous lifestyle and that adding a child to the mix will add a beautiful dimension to our life and love worthy of the sleepless nights ahead 🤪

We’re ready and excited for the challenge & worked hard to get here (we did IVF in Barcelona in spring. more on that later). While pregnancy is the most miserable I have ever been in my life (not going to sit here and sugarcoat it), my heart and soul are brimming with love and excitement for this little one that appears to be practicing some kind of dance routine inside me as we speak 😉

Can’t wait to meet you little guy! Even though you did give us the finger during our ultrasound 😅

Surprise!!! and I eloped in Telluride yesterday.

We asked our families to get ready for a “supposed” film makers family happy hour. Little did they know we were headed to the courthouse instead. ✨
