TYG, I can sew - almost anything

TYG, I can sew - almost anything I specialize in making memory bears, quilts and pillows. I also repair stuffed animals and quilts. I like the way the long arm machine makes the quilt look.

I charge between $60 - 100 to make the quilt top and do the binding. Once I have the top done, I then hand it over to my friend that has a long arm machine to actually quilt the top, batting and back together. I also think they hold together better than the stitch in the ditch type quilting. Depending on how large the quilt top is, determines the price of the quilting. Say the quilt top comes out

to be 40" x 60" in measurement. She would take that sum and multiply it by her charge of $0.018 per inch--that comes out to about $43 to have it professionally quilted. That would be for a 40x60" quilt. If the quilt top is larger, the more expensive it would be. (It's still not bad though.) One other cost to you will be for the batting and the backing material. You can either buy them or I can. If you pay for the materials, of course there would be no extra charge. If I buy the materials, I would charge you what I paid for them and have the receipt to show you. Once I have the quilt top done and the quilting is complete, I'd put on the binding. I also make memory pillows. You bring me the shirt and the pillow form and I will make the pillow case. Cases usually run $20. BUT, if they are to be made from a T-Shirt, I will charge $25 due to having to use a fabric stabilizer. If you want something written on the pillow case I charge an extra $5. If I need to supply the pillow form, that cost will be added to the cost of the pillow.

Sometimes healing doesn't happen all at once—it happens one small stitch, one quiet moment, and one act of love at a time. A sewing machine may simply do what it was made to do, but in caring hands, it becomes part of something much greater. Every quilt, garment, or handmade gift carries comfort, hope, and love that reaches hearts in ways we may never fully see.

Keep creating, even when you don't realize the difference you're making. The time, care, and love you sew into every project can become someone's source of warmth, encouragement, or cherished memory. Your hands create more than beautiful pieces—they help stitch together stories of kindness that last a lifetime. ❤️
