Be sure to get those studded tires off!

Don’t forget: you only have a couple more weeks to take your studded snow tires off your vehicles. The deadline is still May 1st because they do damage to our roads. Also, auto shops are essential services, so they remain open.

Had a customer come in, there regular mechanic didn’t have time to get them in. Has had a cylinder 2 misfire they needed to have checked out. This could have been much more costly had we not checked the spark plugs

Though the air temperature may be above 32 degrees, the road surface may be below freezing due to frost. If the road looks wet, assume it will be icy. Drive with caution!

This is why you should move over and slow down when you see the lights of an emergency responder, tow truck or maintenance vehicle.

On 12/21/2018 Trooper John Davis responded to a report of a two vehicle slide off crash in the area of mile 70 NB in New Gloucester. When pulled over at the scene with his emergency lights activated, Trooper Davis was rear-ended by a tractor trailer, turning his cruiser on its side, forcing it into the guardrail.
