“If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.” - Matthew 5:41

➡In the 1st Century, in occupied Israel, a Roman soldier could require Jewish citizen to carry their gear for one mile. Jesus told His followers not just to comply—but to go another mile voluntarily.

➡That second mile represented something powerful. It meant moving beyond obligation into service. Beyond duty into servanthood.

In business terms, it can mean moving from transaction to relationship. Most companies operate in the first mile. They deliver what customers expect and the obligation is met. The product works. The service is fine. The transaction is completed and the customer is satisfied.

👀 But some companies practice ‘second mile’ service. They deliver more than the customer expects. The service grows to servanthood. The transaction is completed and relationship grows. The result is customers are impressed.

What comes after the ‘second mile’? Any guesses? Comment below ⬇

“Live in harmony with one another.” - Romans 12:16

Romans chapter 12 calls believers to a community marked by humility, honor, empathy, generosity, and peace.

Read: Romans 12:3-18 (I challenge you!)

Answer the question below on what it looks like to move beyond surface-level connection and toward genuine life together in Christ. ⬇

➡ If we fully lived out Romans 12:3-18, what would be different about how we relate to each other, celebrate successes, ask for help, share burdens, handle conflict, and simply do life together?

What if the biggest thing holding your business back isn't strategy, marketing, or sales...

What if it's isolation?

Many leaders carry the weight of difficult decisions, employee challenges, financial pressures, and family responsibilities without a trusted group of peers to walk alongside them.

At Truth At Work, we believe leaders need more than answers—they need relationships. A place where they can be challenged, encouraged, held accountable, and sharpened by other Christian business leaders who understand the journey.

Because leadership wasn't meant to be a solo sport.

What if the greatest thing you build this year isn't your business?

What if it's the impact you leave on the people around you?

At the end of our careers, few of us will wish we had attended one more meeting, closed one more deal, or answered one more email. But we will remember the lives we invested in, the people we encouraged, and the example we set.

Success may open doors, but significance changes lives.

At Truth At Work, we're committed to helping business leaders build both.

⚖️ Balance isn't about giving equal time to everything. It's about giving the right attention to what matters most.

As leaders, entrepreneurs, spouses, parents, and friends, it's easy to feel pulled in a dozen different directions. But lasting success isn't found in constantly doing more—it's found in aligning our priorities with our values.

At Truth At Work, we believe true balance starts with putting God first, leading with purpose, and being fully present where you're called to serve.

💬 What is one area of your life where you're working to create better balance?
