Who are you when nobody is watching?

Integrity isn’t built in the big moments. It’s built in the small decisions no one else may ever know about.

How we treat an employee.
How we speak about a competitor.
How we handle a mistake.
How we conduct business when doing the right thing costs us something.

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” — Proverbs 10:9

Success is great—but not at the expense of character.

Build something you can be proud of, even when no one else sees the work behind it.

Is the way you’re doing business pointing people toward the values you say you believe?

Pressure has a way of revealing what’s really inside of us.

Deadlines. Difficult conversations. Financial stress. Employees. Customers. Decisions that don’t have an obvious answer.

Leadership can get heavy.

But those moments are also opportunities to remember that we were never meant to carry the weight alone.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

Bring God into the meeting.
Bring Him into the decision.
Bring Him into the uncertainty.

Your faith isn’t something you leave at the door when the workday begins.

Great leadership doesn’t always start with having the right answer. Sometimes it starts with being willing to listen.

In business, it’s easy to feel like we need to respond quickly, defend our position, or prove that we know the way forward.

But Scripture gives us a different picture of wisdom.

“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” — James 1:19

This week, before you respond… listen.
Before you assume… ask.
Before you lead… seek to understand.

Sometimes the strongest leader in the room is the one who listens first.

Saturday reminder.

You don’t have to carry everything into next week.
The meeting that didn’t go as planned.
The decision you’re still questioning.
The goal you didn’t hit.
The conversation you wish you could redo.

Lay it down.

God never asked us to have everything figured out. He asks us to trust Him—even when we can’t see what He’s doing yet.

Take some time today to slow down, be present with the people you love, and thank God for where He has you right now.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Rest today. Trust Him with tomorrow. 🙏🏼

There’s a difference between being busy and being faithful.

It’s easy to fill a calendar. Answer every email. Chase the next goal. Build the business. Lead the team. Keep pushing.

But sometimes the question we need to ask isn’t, “How much did I get done today?”

It’s “Did I honor God in the way I did it?”

Did I lead with patience?
Did I treat people well?
Did I choose integrity when no one was watching?
Did I make room to listen to God instead of just asking Him to bless my plans?

Success can be measured a hundred different ways. But as Christian leaders, faithfulness has to be one of them.

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." — Proverbs 16:3

Labor Day weekend is here… but here’s a challenge before you check out for the weekend. 🇺🇸

We spend a lot of time asking God to bless the work of our hands.

But when was the last time we asked:

“God, is the way I’m working honoring You?”

Not just the results.
Not just the numbers.
Not just how successful the business looks.

The way we lead. The way we treat people. The decisions no one sees. The integrity we choose when it would be easier not to.

This Labor Day weekend, take a little time away from the work—and ask God what He wants to do through your work when you return.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." — Colossians 3:23

As August comes to a close, maybe you don’t need to ask yourself, “Did I accomplish everything I wanted to?”

Maybe the better question is…

“Was I faithful with what God put in front of me?”

Because faithfulness doesn’t always look impressive.

Sometimes it’s showing up when you’re tired.
Having the conversation you’ve been avoiding.
Encouraging the person who needed it.
Choosing integrity when no one would’ve known otherwise.
Praying one more time for something you haven’t seen God move in yet.

We tend to celebrate the BIG moments—the promotion, the growth, the breakthrough, the answered prayer.

But so much of what God does begins with small, daily decisions to simply say yes to Him.

So if August didn’t go exactly how you planned, don’t count it as wasted.

Keep showing up. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep doing the good work God has placed in front of you.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9

Great leaders don’t always have the loudest voice in the room.

Often, they’re the ones who are willing to slow down, ask the right questions, and truly listen.

Listening to your team can help you understand what they need. Listening to other leaders can give you wisdom you may not have considered. And taking time to listen to God can completely change the direction of a decision.

Leadership isn’t always about having the answer. Sometimes it’s about being humble enough to listen before you respond.
