The biggest problem I identified with sales and marketing is establishing a dialogue. We replaced the Mass Marketing (SEO, social media, etc) cost with Precision Marketing virtual marketing assistants (VMA). I use VMA’s to prospect qualified companies and target key personnel to send an introduction. If there is a response, they can be forwarded to sales for closing. If there is no response in a week, a salesperson can call up to follow up on the inquiry. Thereby realigning marketing to support sales. Sales is the lifeblood of any company, no sales no company.
