A few months ago, someone told me I was doing good. Old me would have said no, pushed it away, made it small.
This time I just said, 'thank you.'
Nothing big happened after that. No camera, no big change. But something inside me felt different that day.
I think growing is mostly like this. Small. Quiet. You almost don't notice it until later.

Day 7/100 A Dollar a day for Nepal 🇳🇵
Some updates from Nepal, ten days on:
• Two survivors were just found alive — one pulled from a hydropower tunnel, another from the top floor of a building in Betrawati
• Death toll: 1,357. Still missing: over 5,300
• Scientists say the mountain itself is still unstable — cracked bedrock, loose ice, more could still come down
• The UN estimates 2.2 million tonnes of debris left behind

Every one of those numbers is someone's family. Some of them are kids with no one left.

Ask any grandmother here — her grandmother farmed this same soil. Thirteen days ago, it was gone by breakfast.

Scientists just said the earth is heating up faster than countries promised to allow.

A huge piece of ice, frozen for generations, broke off a mountain in Nepal — and that's what caused the flood that killed over 1,100 people.

This isn't something that might happen someday. It already happened.

A dollar won't fix the whole planet. But it can help someone who's already living through what a hotter world looks like.
