Empowering students in our Hunts Point community through hands-on learning and career exploration made for an unforgettable Career Day at A&J Produce!🍎

We welcomed students from for an immersive experience that explored the fresh produce industry, emphasized health and wellness, and introduced a variety of career pathways.

Highlights included:

WE ARE ONE MONTH AWAY!

The A&J team is proud to be honored by the Hunts Point Alliance for Children (HPAC) at their 16th Annual Scholarship Benefit at the New York Historical Society on May 22nd from 6pm to 9pm. Join us in celebrating HPAC’s transformative work in the community of Hunts Point, where we have been in business since 1977.

We are proud to be HPAC’s Community Hero Honoree for 2024. This acknowledgement recognizes our partnership with HPAC. In collaboration with HPAC, we have donated substantial produce for their annual community events, contributed to their May 2023 Scholarship Benefit, and provided toys for their annual holiday drive. HPAC is recognizing our generosity and commitment to uplifting the lives of residents in Hunts Point.

Since 2013, the Hunts Point Alliance for Children has awarded nearly $700,000 in scholarship aid, enabling students to attend some of the most competitive high schools in the city. Every year, at least 25 families and high school students receive support from the Hunts Point Alliance for Children, and we are looking to increase that number. Graduates of the scholarship program have gone on to prestigious colleges such as New York University, Fordham University, Middlebury College, and Boston College, launching careers in finance, law, and college admissions.
