A LiDAR scan was utilized to capture the existing timber framing, structural steel members, masonry walls, and overall building envelope to aid in the design process. A Revit model was generated identifying the As-Built conditions of the structural framing, walls, and overall square footage.

Tribrach Solutions was given the opportunity to provide a LiDAR scan of an empty shell of the former Sears anchor store at the Gateway Mall in Lincoln, Nebraska. The building was without lighting and electricity during the scanning. The LiDAR scanner does not need light in order to produce high quality LiDAR scans.

LiDAR scan of a sinkhole in Lake Ann Spillway in Bella Vista Arkansas was provided to generate a three dimensional image of the space . The scan was used to calculate the inside volume and extents of the sinkhole. The results from the LiDAR survey aided in analyzing best possible remediation solution, by consultant engineers. Without the use of 3D laser scanning technology, the client would have no way of accurately measuring the jagged, uneven surfaces inside the sinkhole.
