🍂 🍇 We’re so excited to bring back our 4th annual “Harvesting Sunshine” festival here at The Sunshine Mill, so mark your calendar for THIS Saturday, September 19th from 12pm-6pm 🌞 ✨

This is a time to celebrate our grape harvest of our estate-grown Pinot Noir and relish in the beauty of fall!

We’ll be doing tours of the building (all the way to the roof, on the hour, every hour!), crushing our grapes on site, pouring our w**es, serving our food, including free samples of our Pinot Noir, serving b**r from Freebridge Brewing , we’ll have a pumpkin bounce house and face painting from Fairygodmother's Events, a clothing pop up from Terra Cotta Gorge Co., apothecary goods from Moonbeam Daydream Skin & Spirit care, flower bouquets from Marie Nichol, cookies from Dani Annala | Dani’s Kitchen Shop, sourdough and baked goods from Miracle Acres, hair sparkles from Lucky Locks® Hair Sparkles, hand poured candles from Adventurous Aromas, jewelry from Annette Ruckert & Star Meichtry and Rebecca Bashara, lavender items from Among the Trees Lavender Farm | Farm Store, homemade goods and crafts from Julie Clainos Smith, Brick City & Games will be here with giant yard games and retail, we will have Tamales by Teresa and Dry Hollow PTA will be selling hot dogs meals as a fundraiser for their school!

We’ll be having live music outdoors for the whole event featuring Jess Clemons and Matt and Mary Music Page so bring your dancing shoes!

This event is FREE and family-friendly.
We’d love to invite you down to celebrate a very special time for much of the gorge and to show you all the great things we have to offer!

We’re so excited excited for our fourth annual Harvesting Sunshine Festival coming up next Saturday from 12pm-6pm! We’ll be tours all the way to the roof every hour on the hour and we have so many local vendors who will be here selling their goods! It’s one of our favorite days of the year!

Harvest is in full swing and it’s a family affair! James got to take the grandkids out for breakfast in the vines (thanks Miracle Acres for the delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls and banana bread we had!) while we start our second round of harvest.

This year, we had an early picking for a sparkling w**e that we’re making for Trader Joe’s, and now we start our second round that’ll be used for our estate Pinot Noir!

We love this time of year and can’t wait to celebrate it all with you on Saturday, September 19th at our Harvesting Sunshine Festival from 12pm-6pm! Come stomp some grapes and do a tour to the roof of the building!

It’s been an absolutely✨magical✨few weeks hosting TheDallesArtCenter summer mural camps here at The Sunshine Mill! Watching children and adults come together for a community art project has been so special. We’re grateful for all the parents and volunteers (and lamprey!) who made these camps so successful, and to denae for her meticulous work in designing the mural and guiding the painting of it!

There will be a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, August 11th at 4pm where you can see the incredible mural, inspired by the native fishing traditions along the Columbia River, in all its glory. Stop by early for a sneak peak, we’re open daily!

*Please note, our east tasting room will be closing early at 5:30 tonight, Friday, August 7th, for a private event. Our main tasting room will remain open until 7, so please enter on the south or west sides of the building.

He did such an incredible job capturing our beautiful space and showcasing our eclectic vibe.

Our furniture pieces are some of our most asked about, and to see them on display in this video was so special!

Congratulations to all the local graduates!

This weekend we have some very special parties happening here and we’ll be closed Saturday, June 6th in our East Tasting Room from 3pm-6pm but our main tasting room will remain open so please enter through the amphitheater or on the west side!

Sunday, June 7th the whole property will be closed from 12pm-4pm, but we will reopen to the public at 4pm!

We can’t wait to celebrate our local graduates!!
