It is busy season. That cramped amount of time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. All the school activities, sporting events, recitals, shopping, final exams… it’s all going down.
I don’t pop on here with words of wisdom too often… but this is important:
NOT EVERY WORKOUT HAS TO BE EPIC
Consistency in movement no matter how much time you have, space you have, willpower you have. Keep showing up. If you have the chance to move your body for 20 minutes or passing on the opportunity because you don’t think you have enough time or space? Choose moving your body every single time. Be creative! Just walking or doing some in-place exercises will always win 🏆.
Today I was in between carpools, had 35 minutes between ballet drop off and cheer pick up. Luckily I roll in athleisure wear🤣. I hit the track at the school where I had pick up duty.
It wasn’t perfect. Jogged 2 laps and then ran 400m, 300m, 100m fast. Did some lunges, did some broad jump burpees (hello Hyrox!), then I sweat my butt off in the car waiting for kids and catching my breath.
I wanted more, but it worked!
