🚒🔥 A PROUD DAY FOR TERREBONNE PARISH FIRE DISTRICT #10! 🔥🚒

BAYOU DULARGE FIRE DEPARTMENT
NEW FIRE APPARATUS PUSH-IN CEREMONY

Yesterday, October 13, 2026, marked a special moment in the history of Bayou Dularge Fire Department as we celebrated the official dedication and traditional push-in ceremony of our newest fire apparatus.

The push-in ceremony is a time-honored fire service tradition dating back to the days of horse-drawn fire engines, when firefighters would manually push their apparatus back into the station after returning from an emergency.

Today, that tradition continues as a symbol of brotherhood, teamwork, pride, and respect for the generations of firefighters who came before us.

This new apparatus represents much more than a new fire truck. It represents our department's continued commitment to providing the highest level of fire protection and emergency services to the citizens of Bayou Dularge.

🙏 A SPECIAL THANK YOU

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our Board of Commissioners for their leadership and dedication to improving fire protection within our district.

To our firefighters, both past and present, thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and willingness to serve our community.

To Fr. Antonio thank you for taking the time to bless this apparatus. Fr. Antonio was a firefighter in Australia before entering priesthood. I found it only fitting that he do such honors as asking for protection to our firefighters and equipment.

Most importantly, THANK YOU TO THE CITIZENS OF BAYOU DULARGE ! Your continued trust and support make investments like this possible. This apparatus belongs to the community, and it will serve as an important tool in protecting lives and property for years to come.

As we welcome this new apparatus into service, we remain committed to the same mission that has guided our department for generations.

🚒 HONORING OUR PAST. SERVING OUR PRESENT. PROTECTING OUR FUTURE.

Proud to Serve. Honored to Protect.
