FOR THE WEEKEND; Because you can. Because it's healthy. Because it's necessary. Because otherwise life gets too much and your needs get forgotten by you. Because you're worth it. Because you're worth much more than anything you fear to lose if you pause. Because it's self-love. Because it will protect your sanity. Because we grow when we rest. Because you'll notice the beauty in your life more. Because you'll feel less heavy. Because you'll let something go. Because you'll feel again. Because you'll look into your kid's eyes or your partner's or your pet's or your own. Because you deserve it. Because you need to breathe away from the craziness and stress for a while. Because you have faith in yourself. Because you need a break. Because you are not going to miss out. Because you'll feel the wind blow and you'll hear the birdsong. Because you're healing. Because life's a gift before it is a struggle. And there’s a lot of struggle in the air right now. So find the gift. Pause. (I am in a time of pause right ... and with all the overwhelming things happening in our world right now, it's helping.)ctto

Your life isn’t yours if you always care what others think.

If you knew who God created you to be and the plan He has for your life I’m convinced NOTHING could stop you from fulfilling your purpose on this earth. What if we didn’t look for approval in man yet we stepped out freely completely led by God alone in every circumstance that we hear God nudging us to speak. If the approval of man is what calls and motivates you, it will be the approval of man that destroys you.

God has chosen you, not man.

Who’s lives are attached to your calling? There is a world out there, your friends, your families, people who you have yet to meet that need the gifts God has placed within you. Don’t allow fear or opinions to stop you from the legacy of your obedience.

⁣Don’t hold back from speaking the words God has placed on your heart. Speak up even if your voice shakes because God is on your side!

You are called speak the truth in love; the truth of the word of God. It is the truth that will set people free in Jesus' Name!
