These roles are essential in providing support, advocacy, and mental health services to individuals in need. Position Titles:
• Peer Support Specialist
• Qualified Professional
• Associate Professional

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges
• Foster an empathetic, non-judgmental environment for clients
• Assist clients in developing coping strategies and achieving personal goals
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Qualifications:

For Peer Support Specialist:
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use challenges
• Desire and ability to support others on their recovery journey
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

For Qualified Professional & Associate Professional:
• A degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.)
• For Qualified Professionals: Relevant licensure or certification in the state
• For Associate Professionals: Coursework or internship experience in mental health or related field
• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to develop individualized care plans
• Compassionate, client-focused attitude
