Pet Safety First: How to Kill Yard
Weeds Safely 🐾
This is just 2 of my favorite ways to have a w**d free yard without risking your pet's health. Many commercial w**d killers contain harsh chemicals that stay on the ground long after spraying. Target stubborn w**ds while keeping your dogs and cats completely safe:
1. Pet-Safe Spray: Mix 1 gallon of white vinegar, 1 cup of salt, and 1 tablespoon of Dawn dish soap. Only spray on a hot, sunny day so it dries fast. Keep pets inside until it is completely dry to prevent them from licking it or getting it on their paws. Also keep this spray far from your good plants.
2. The Boiling Water Trick: Pour boiling water directly onto w**ds in sidewalks or driveways. It destroys the roots instantly and leaves behind zero chemical residue, making it immediately safe for pets.
