We kicked off our Summer run at Headwaters Livestock Auction yesterday with 447 hd of cattle. Weigh-up market was strong with feeding cows hitting $195.00. We had a nice little run of heiferettes topping the market at $252.00.

Our Cow/Calf Pair special brought lots of attention with this nice rain we have received. We sold heifer pairs at $5050.00 along with a nice group of BLK/BWF 3s and 4s bringing $5000.00. 5 to 7 yr old pairs topped at $4900.00.

Our next sale will be Monday, June 8th with an All Class Cattle and FEEDER Special. We will run a sale every Monday throughout the month of June.

Join us tomorrow for our All Class Cattle with Pair & Bred Cow Special! We have 295 pairs and 8 bred cows already worked, shown on this list.

Sale will start at 10 AM with weigh ups, lunch will be at 12 PM, before selling pairs and breds at 1 PM.

We also have 50 head of weigh ups already checked in as of end of day Saturday. We are expecting to receive a strong run of weigh ups today and tomorrow as well!

Not one, not two, but THREE bottle calves for sale this coming Monday! They will sell at 1PM. Black calves are both heifers about 2 weeks old, and red calf is a bull about 1 week old. All have been started on a bottle and are doing well. If you have any questions, please text or call the office at 406-285-0502.

This recognition means more to us than we can put into words. Over the past several years, our team has poured their hearts into serving our producers, buyers, and community with integrity, grit, and a deep respect for the agricultural way of life. Every early morning, long sale day, handshake, and conversation has been worth it because of the people we get to serve. This award belongs to our entire team and to the community that continues to show up, support local, and trust us with their livelihoods.

Join us this coming Monday, February 16th, for our All Class Cattle featuring Stock Cows!

The first video highlights a group of 15 red Angus bred heifers, most of them are April calvers with a handful of May as well. They are all bred to low birthweight/calving ease red Angus bulls.

The second video is a group of black Angus running age cows, should all be March calvers!
