Always ask your contractor who is doing the work! We use only our own, W2, full-time employees. Don't get caught in the middle with a subcontractor, or a friend's brother's uncle that's "been doing this a long time." Trust the professionals.

Last week we had a utility company tell a customer that they've never worked with a solar installer that was so thorough and focused on doing it right. Knowing utility companies usually hate us, we'll definitely take that!

Very important, when choosing a Generac installer, make sure they are sales AND service certified (they are two very different things). We've been getting a lot of calls lately because someone was installed by a company that is not service certified. Then, once the install is done, if there's a problem, they can't help you., leaving you on your own. You can go to Generac's website or give them a call to verify. We're happy to say that we are both sales AND service certified. 😤
