Happy Make it Monday Friends!

Today we will be making Unicorns! This super cute and easy Valentines Day unicorn paper plate craft is sure to impress all unicorn lovers.

You will need:
Paper plate
Colored cardstock paper or construction paper
White cardstock or construction paper
Yellow cardstock or construction paper
Self-adhesive heart stickers
Googly eyes
Scissors and ruler or paper cutter
School glue
Stapler, optional
Black permanent marker

Cut colorful paper into 1 inch strips approximately 4 inches long. (You will need about 14 strips.) These will be the mane.
With one sheet of colored paper, cut a large heart shape. This will be the muzzle.
From the yellow paper, cut a horn shape.
With the white paper, fold in half and cut an ear shape, creating two identical ears.
Begin by attaching the horn to the FRONT of the paper plate using glue or a stapler.
Then, attach the ears to the back of the paper plate on either side of the horn. Add heart stickers to the ears and around the horn as decoration.
Flip the paper plate and attach the strips for the mane using glue. Allow to dry completely before continuing.
On the FRONT of the paper plate, attach the large heart muzzle. On the heart, add two small stickers for nostrils and a larger heart sticker as the tongue/mouth.
Using a black marker, draw closed eyes.
Allow to dry completely before playing with or displaying!

Happy Make it Monday friends!!!

Today we will be making Love Catchers!

You will need:
Beading wire (or any flexible wire) We used pipe cleaners!!!
Wooden beads (or any beads you have)
Yarn or string
Heart stickers

Tie two pipe cleaners together and string beads on the pipe cleaners.
Form into a heart shape.
Take yarn or thread and wrap from side to side of heart to create the dream catcher look.
Place heart stickers on your love catcher.
Tie a piece of yarn to hang from.
Hang your love catcher!! Now, go read Love and chat about all of the ways we can show love and get caught by your little love catcher!

It's National Random Act of Kindness Day!

Too many times we forget the impact that simple gestures can make – a kind word, a lending ear, a comforting hug, or a warm and simple smile. We often forget that these simple things actually have the power to turn lives around and make someone's day brighter. This is exactly why National Random Acts of Kindness Day is being celebrated – to encourage everyone to spread kindness.
