Ryland Enviromental - City of Tifton

Ryland Environmental located at 2508 Carpenter Rd S, Tifton is accepting recycle materials for the residences of the City of Tifton. Hours of operation are 7 days a week 24 hours a day. This is an unmanned recycle drop that is a self-service. Acceptable materials are plastic bottles, jugs, clean paper, cardboard, empty aluminum and steel cans. Material not accepted are glass bottles, food, yard waste, plastic trash bags and Styrofoam. Please do not leave material on the ground outside the bin. This service is provided by the City of Tifton and Ryland Environmental.

📣Ryland Holiday Schedule📣

Ryland Environmental will be closed Thursday, November 24th in observance of Thanksgiving. Service will resume on Friday November 25th. Monday- Wednesday routes will run as usual. Thursday’s route will be completed on Friday. From our family to yours we wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Good morning valued customers,

As you are aware, there is a hurricane in the gulf that could impact our area on Thursday. Ryland Environmental is closely monitoring the situation. Our current plans are to run as normal through Wednesday night. Wednesday afternoon our management team will decide on Thursday operations using the best available data to ensure our employees and the communities we serve are safe. We will notify you of our decision at that time.

Potential impacts could range from suspension of operations on Thursday to no impact at all. Additional potential outcomes could be adjusted shifts that result in garbage being collected at a different time than normal. For example, we could start collections later than normal Thursday as the storm passes.

In any case should there be delays we will have an aggressive plan to restore service and ensure citizens needs are met.
