A Birthday Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We come before You on this sacred day with hearts full of gratitude, lifting up the one You fashioned with intention, the one You breathed purpose into before the foundations of the earth were laid. Today, we celebrate not just a birthday - we celebrate a life You chose, a vessel You filled, a story You are still writing.
Lord, wrap this soul in Your grace - that unearned, undeserved, beautiful grace that covers every scar, every stumble, every season that felt too hard to carry. Let us walk through this next year wrapped in the fullness of Your love, feeling it in the morning when they rise and in the quiet when the world goes still.
Father, make us a builder. Wherever we go, let our words carry the weight of healing. Let our presence make a room feel lighter. Let the people we encounter walk away feeling seen, valued, and lifted higher than when they arrived. Plant in us the deep conviction that every soul they meet deserves encouragement, and give us the courage to deliver it boldly.
Align our steps with Your divine purpose - not the path the world mapped out, but the one You ordained in eternity. Let wisdom rise in us like the morning sun. Let divine truth be the foundation we stand on when everything around them shakes. Let love - Your love, the kind that endures, the kind that serves, the kind that sacrifices - flow through us like a river that refuses to run dry.
Make us part of the solution, Lord. In a world full of noise, let us bring clarity. In a world full of division, let us bring unity. In a world full of people tearing each other down, let us be known as the one who always found a way to build something better.
