The Sumner Agency, Inc. was established in 1987 by David Sumner. Since this time, we have began working with farmers from all over the southeastern United States to better help them protect all their assets including Crop Insurance. Over the years we been at the forefront in monitoring and evaluating the changes taking place with the current and future Farm Programs, as well as changes in Crop Ins

urance programs. However, in 2012 the new Farm Bill brought about extensive changes to both the Crop Insurance programs as well as to the Farm Service Agency (FSA) programs. Upon the realizing of the need to stay abreast with all these changes, we have developed new a valuable tools to help a producer maximize their potential payments from both FSA as well as through Crop Insurance. With these tools, a producer can better help evaluate their risk and help form what the USDA considers their Safety Net. In 2015 we separated all of the Farm Services from The Sumner Agency, Inc., and formed Sumner AG Services, Inc. to better align with what our mission and goals are. We have extensive “on farm” knowledge and understand all aspects of farming operations. What sets us apart from others is that we spend about 80% of our time consulting with our customers to give them the tools to maximize their income on their farm operations. We have developed tools to assist our customers in maximizing Farm Service Agencies “FSA” Programs. We have also developed tools to help our customers in letting them determine the best level of coverage, as well as a combination of programs to maximize protection on their operations.
