We recently surveyed a few of our clients about workplace satisfaction and employee retention. In their annual surveys, often they see comments regarding workspace within the workplace.

The workplace environment is very important, especially if you mean the physical space employees use every day. It affects whether people can focus, collaborate, feel comfortable, and do their jobs without unnecessary friction. In Gensler’s 2025 workplace survey, employees who rated their workplace highly were nearly three times as likely to say they intended to stay with their company.

The most useful improvements are often practical: comfortable desks and chairs, good lighting and air quality, control over noise, and a choice of spaces for focused work, calls, and teamwork. What matters most depends on the work people actually do.

The social environment matters just as much. A well-designed office supports employees, but managers, respect, workload, and opportunities to grow also shape whether they want to stay.

Designed specifically to feel comfortable, functional, and reassuring for young patients and their families.
