Your 2026-2027 McMullen County 4-H Club Officers had a very busy day today. They spent the morning working on parliamentary procedures, discussing many topics and brainstorming ideas to “Make the Best Better.” After working hard, they made the drive to San Antonio Sandbox VR for some team building and bonding. What a full and fun day they had! We look forward to seeing all of you at our first meeting on Sept. 14.

The End of Year Celebration was a success for McMullen County 4-H. We recognized members for their dedication to their disciplines, enjoyed some yummy food, and had a BLAST with our friends. Even the parents got in on the fun. Thank you to Lyneigh Garza and Christy Bramwell Lansford for planing a great event. If you have some images from the event, please share them with us.

Good to know during show animal purchase and show season!

Know before you go!
New World Screwworm (NWS) Treatment/Movement Certificates are issued for movement of animals out of a NWS Infested Zone within the state of Texas. Inspections can be conducted by veterinarians, state or federal animal health officials, and authorized NWS-certified inspectors.

Interstate movement of animals requires a certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI). Please contact your veterinarian for additional guidance. Requirements may vary based on the destination’s State Animal Health Official.
