To my clients,

I need to share an important update. At this time, I will not be taking in any new taxidermy work so I can focus on the pieces currently in my shop.

My goal has always been to provide high-quality taxidermy work with a turnaround time I can stand behind. Taxidermy is a detailed, time-consuming trade, and with the number of jobs currently in line, my turnaround time has extended beyond where I want it to be.
For that reason, I’ve made the decision to pause new intakes and focus fully on the work already entrusted to me.

At this point, I likely will not be accepting additional work until Fall 2027.

Thank you for your continued support, patience, and understanding. I truly appreciate every client who has trusted me with their animal, and I look forward to completing each piece with the quality, care, and attention it deserves.

Three hunting buddies, three incredible bucks, and three completely unique mounts. It was an absolute privilege to bring these stories back to life.

The Brute (Anthony's): Easily the biggest neck I've seen on a blacktail, measuring a massive 26 inches (an average neck this time of year is 21-22”). His unique antler structure tells the story of an old injury while in velvet.

The Rare One (Skyler's): A striking piebald buck. To do this unique hide justice, we mounted him on a vintage pack frame, positioned perfectly to display his piebald hind legs.

The Classic (Robert's): A textbook beautiful buck boasting an impressive, clean rack with great symmetry.

Two great bucks!

We just finished two very nice shoulder mounts for Hunter and Kaylie.

Hunter took this nice Blacktail from our Coastal Range. Not sure the picture does it justice, he has a stunning coat! Kaylie brought home this massive Montana Mule Deer.

This California bighorn sheep was mounted as a fully custom half life-size wall mount for Chad, featuring a slight open mouth pose and set on a rock ledge habitat designed to reflect the rugged terrain these animals call home.

With an impressive, 176” Boone and Crockett score, this ram deserved a mount that honored both the animal and the experience behind it. Every detail was carefully considered to create a piece that feels natural lifelike and true to its habitat.

A restoration like this is not a quick fix!

This 48” King Salmon (50 lbs!) was a skin mount that had been previously mounted years ago, and later damaged by mice. The harm was significant - missing large areas of skin and scales, and pieces of fins were gone.

The project was an incredible challenge and literally took hundreds of hours over several months.

• Structural repairs and reconstruction
• Replacing missing skin, scales and fins
• Detailing and texture matching
• Full repaint (with exception of the head which needed some touch up)

I’m sharing the BEFORE photos so you can see the damage, followed by the completed AFTER photos (banana for scale!).
