Strengthening the Space Coast Workforce
Through Skills Training and Apprenticeships
The Space Coast’s aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing industries depend on a workforce equipped with the technical skills employers need today and as production technologies evolve.
The Aerospace and Defense Training Center (ADTC) Space Coast, located in Titusville, Florida, helps meet this need through accelerated, hands-on technical training and customized workforce development.
ADTC offers training in areas including CNC machining, advanced composites, aerospace assembly, electronics, and manufacturing fundamentals.
Our programs prepare individuals for employment by building practical, job-ready skills. We also help employers develop new talent and upskill their existing workforce through training tailored to specific production needs.
ADTC also complements the Space Coast Consortium Apprenticeship Program (SCCAP). Hosted by SpaceTEC Partners, Inc., SCCAP is a Florida-registered apprenticeship program combining technical instruction with structured, on-the-job learning. Its occupational pathways include advanced CNC machining, mechatronics, fiber composites, and additive manufacturing.
Together, ADTC and SCCAP support complementary approaches to workforce development: accelerated technical skills training, employer-focused upskilling, and structured apprenticeship pathways.
Our shared focus is connecting skills, employers, and career opportunities to help strengthen the Space Coast’s aerospace and advanced manufacturing workforce.
