❄️ Winter Safety Reminder ❄️

Don’t forget about your home’s exhaust vents! Furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and dryers all vent to the outside—and if those vents are blocked by snow or ice, dangerous carbon monoxide can build up inside your home.

🛠️ Take a few minutes to:
• Clear snow and ice away from all exterior vents
• Check vents after plowing or drifting snow
• Keep at least 2–3 feet of clearance around vent pipes

🚨 Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, and deadly. A little prevention can save lives. Stay warm, stay safe, and shovel smart!

❄️ Keeping the Warmth Flowing: A Phil’s Propane Update

We know it’s been a long, cold few days for everyone. Between the endless shoveling and the freezing temps. We hear you, we see the snow piles, and we are with you all the way in this stressful time!

To support every one of our customers, our office staff will be working remotely today (Wednesday), Thursday, and Friday. By closing the physical office door for these three days, our team can focus 100% on managing the tremendous call volume and coordinating deliveries for those in need.

While our physical office door will be closed, we are still answering every call and our trucks are out in force.

🚛 How you can help us get to you without any issue:
To make things run smoothly and keep our drivers safe, we have a few small favors:

❄️ Clear the Path: Please ensure there is a clear path from where the truck parks all the way to your tank.

🏺 Underground Tanks: Please make sure these are unburied with a clear path for access.

🛣️ Street Access: Please ensure your street and the surrounding area are clear so our heavy trucks can navigate safely.

We are doing our absolute best to get to you. Please be patient with us—the roads are tricky, but our drivers and office staff are working tirelessly to keep you warm and happy.

🗓 Office door will be Reopening Saturday, Feb 28th (9 AM – 1 PM):
We will be back in the office for:
📍 Tank refills: 20 #, 30 #, 40 #, Motor Fuel, and 100 #
📍 Bill payments

We’re all in this together. Honestly, we all have seen so much white snow we've forgotten what pavement looks like! Stay safe, stay toasty, and thank you for being so patient & understanding.

UPDATE***
❄️EMERGENCY CLOSURE NOTICE – Monday, Feb 23rd & Tuesday February 24th ❄️

Mother Nature isn’t playing around this year! Due to the declared State of Emergency and the current blizzard conditions, we will be CLOSED on Monday and Tuesday, February 23rd & 24th, 2026.
A strict truck-on-road ban is currently in effect. For the safety of our team and the community, we will not be heading out—including for on-call services—until the ban is officially lifted and road conditions are deemed safe.

🚜 Looking Ahead
At this time, we aren't sure exactly when the travel ban will be lifted. We also don't know what Tuesday will bring yet, so we are taking this one step at a time. We will continue to monitor the weather and state mandates.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Access Requirements for Service
To ensure our drivers can reach you safely and efficiently once we are back on the road, please have your property prepared.
Deliveries will NOT be made if we cannot get to your tank. This includes:
• Clear Paths: A path must be shoveled from the truck parking area to the tank and lid.
• Driveways: Must be fully cleared, sanded/salted, and wide enough for our trucks to access.
• Underground Tanks: The area around the tank lid must be cleared and clearly visible.

If there is no road/driveway access or paths are not cleared, our drivers will be unable to complete the delivery. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we navigate this storm. Please stay safe, stay warm!
