Next Wednesday, we’re kicking off our first DOVIA Northwest Ohio professional development session, “Welcoming Volunteers with Open Arms,” presented by Lori Richards, Director of Community Engagement at Sunshine Communities.

We’ll spend the morning talking about how the volunteer experience starts long before someone ever takes their first shift — and how the way we welcome, communicate with, and connect with volunteers can make a lasting impact.

Perrysburg High School is hosting a Job, Internship & Volunteer Fair on Friday, March 20 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM in the high school gym, and we would love to invite local nonprofits and community organizations to participate.

This event gives you the opportunity to connect directly with Perrysburg High School students who are interested in volunteering, supporting community causes, and gaining service experience.

Participation is free, and we will provide a table and space for your organization to share information about your mission and volunteer opportunities.
