Wine Lovers and Connoisseurs!
Summer is FINALLY here....is your Wine Cellar ready to handle your BBQ and boat cruises? If not, you're in luck! Next Wednesday, June 6th, at 6:30pm is Uptown Vinyards monthly tasting at Manhattan's Restaurant! I'll be your host, and Steve Whirry from Vanguard Wines will be guiding us through the wines.
Our guests will have the opportunity to taste 6 (or more) fantastic wines BEFORE they buy! These wines are selected carefully to give our guests great quality and excellent experiences from all over the world. Last month included a wonderful Meritage, easily the hit of the tasting, as everyone took some home.
Three of next week's wines will be from the Leese Fitch wine makers of California: a delightful Sauvignon Blanc, a nearly perfect Sonoma/Napa Cab, and spot-on Red Zinfandel.
Chef Ian will be providing a charcuterie selection featuring some of his artisan sausages made from scratch and several artisan cheeses.
Cost is $20 per person, and there will be an opportunity to purchase these wines at fantastic prices at the end of the tasting.
Don't take a "Grocery Store Chance" buying something you won't like! Come taste these wonderful wines and KNOW what you're taking home to your wine collection!
Tasting begins at 6:30pm at Manhattan's Restaurant, 1516 Adams St.
Reservations are recommended, but not required. Seating is limited.
