The county extended the burn ban two more weeks. It is now set to expire on October 13. This all depends on the kbdi number and how much rain we get during the two weeks.

Good morning, Grayson County Commissioners Court voted to enact a burn ban effective this morning until September 30, 2026. This can be canceled if conditions improve or extended if conditions do not improve. Always call grayson county dispatch non emergency number before you burn. They will let you know if you can or can not burn, because there are times outside of a burn ban you can not burn. Stay safe.
