MECA Sportswear is seeking full and part time applicants for multiple production support positions. All positions are non-sewing positions and include areas of inspection, machine operation and shipping. Successful applicants include reliable individuals with a strong desire to succeed in a family owned, fast paced, manufacturing environment. No experience necessary. Hours are M-F, 7:00-3:30 with some overtime and Saturday mornings as needed.

Lemons into Lunches Update!

For starters, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to all who have donated so far! Your generosity is amazing!

As of today, we are just a few hundred short in helping four fantastic young ladies meet their goal of wiping out student lunch debt in Tomah.

Meca Sportswear is looking for an artistically inclined person to create production ready art and be responsible for daily art reports. Position also includes setting up banners and plaques for schools and other organizations. Candidates must be well versed in Adobe Creative suite, specifically Adobe illustrator. Knowledge of Microsoft office and CorelDraw is preferred. This job will require working on the computer and some work in the factory when banner and plaque orders are received. No sewing is necessary, but math skills, measuring and attention to detail are a must.

Typical work week will be Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with a combination of factory and office duties. Meca Sportswear experiences multiple busy seasons throughout the year that can require overtime including weekends. Must be able to stand 10 hours per day, lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis, and have the ability to quickly adapt to production needs.

When we heard about the amazing idea to have racks of jackets to help those that need them, we just had to jump in.

Today we made stops at both Jeremy Haldeman - American Family Insurance Agent and Ground Round Grill & Bar - Tomah to help fill the racks with more winter jackets & hats.
