I start with a picture, and with several processing steps create the 3D grey scale depth image then using my laser I engrave it from blank material. Still need to do more polishing on it.

Got it finished. Lots of detail. Took me a week to draft up art, got it to gun, get customer approval, laser engrave it and clean it up. 3 day of it was engraving it.

Did a test engraving of the file I created to appreciate the detail. I just put in my ultrasonic cleaner to get the grim dirt off of it. Video was taken prior to cleaner. To better appreciate the art I engraved it small.
