On National Nonprofit Day, we’re proud to shine a light on one of our own. ❤️
At BNI Northwest Referral Network, we talk a lot about relationships, referrals and helping each other grow.
But sometimes the impact of one of those relationships reaches far beyond business.
Our chapter member Ralana Ball of 4ever 4given is doing meaningful work right here in our community, helping women find hope, healing and a path forward through a Christ-centered recovery program.
Ralana has helped transform a house into a true home and safe haven for women working to get sober, stay sober and rebuild their lives.
Inside, there is structure. There is accountability. There are shared responsibilities, routines and community. Most importantly, there are women encouraging one another as they work toward healing and a different future.
One of the most powerful pieces in the home is a painting of a woman who appears broken, yet beautifully put back together with gold, much like repaired pottery.
Beside her is the hand of God, gently lifted toward her. To me, it feels almost as though He is admiring what has been restored.
The cracks are still visible.
But they are no longer the end of the story.
They have become part of something beautiful.
It is such a fitting image for the work happening inside this home every day.
Restoration. Hope. Community. A new beginning.
And right now, we have an opportunity to support that mission.
4ever 4given is preparing for its upcoming Legacy Gala, and they are still collecting donations for the silent auction. One item they would especially love to receive is a pair of Houston Astros or Houston Texans tickets. ⚾🏈
Maybe you have season tickets. Maybe your company has access to them. Maybe you know someone who does.
Or perhaps your business has another product, service or experience that would make a meaningful silent auction donation.
What may feel like a simple donation can help support something much bigger: a safe home, continued programming, and another woman’s opportunity to rebuild her life.
Today, we are thankful for Ralana, inspired by the women doing the hard work of restoration, and proud to have 4ever 4given represented in Northwest Referral Network.
If you can contribute to the Gala, please reach out to 4ever 4given.
And if someone immediately came to mind while reading this, tag them below or share this post with them.
Because sometimes the best referral we can give isn’t for business.
Sometimes it’s connecting a great need with the right person who can help. ❤️
