Lines may be more crooked than they appear.

My ability to draw straight lines does not indicate my ability to promote and host a farmers market!

Ever been nibbled by a goat? 🐐

Here's why it doesn't hurt: goats have NO top front teeth.

Just a hard pad of gum up top. Their bottom teeth press grass against that pad and tear it off. No top teeth needed.

So when one grabs your shirt (and they will), there's nothing up front to bite down with. Just a whole lot of tickly nibbles. 😂

Come see how our goats do it for yourself, and bring a shirt you don't mind getting nibbled.

This is obviously not the tortoise trainer.

Fresh finds from local vendors.
Kids feeding goats and taking on the play zones.
Parents actually getting to slow down for once.

That's the whole idea. You get to escape to the country without leaving the city behind. It's 20 minutes from Houston, not an hour-plus.

Thank you to every family who came out and made it feel like a real community day. We're already planning the next one. 🙌

Quick question: how tall is a pony? 🐴

Trick question. We don't use feet. We use HANDS.

Here's how it works:

✋ 1 hand = 4 inches (about the width of an adult's palm)
📏 You measure from the ground up to the withers, the bump at the base of the neck
🐎 Under 14.2 hands? That's a pony. Taller? That's a horse.

So "14.2" means 14 hands and 2 inches. Not 14.2 of anything!

Next time you visit, see if the kids can guess how many hands our ponies are. 👀
