Acadia Home Health Care is looking to expand our team of caring, compassionate, and reliable Certified Home Health Aides.
Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one hands on care to individuals of all ages
• Provide personal care assistance with ADL’s (ex: feeding, bathing, dressing clients, etc...)
• Companionship and conversation
• Provide necessary relief to caregivers by assisting with any personal care needs of the client/patient
• Monitor/report changes in client health status or environment
• Documenting care provided on a daily basis
• Assistance with errands and/or community involvement
Qualifications:
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Experience in home health, hospice, or other related fields is preferred but not necessary. Training opportunities are available upon request.
• Successful completion of a Homemaker/Home Health Aide training program from a facility approved by the N.J. Board of Nursing and/or a written skills test and competency evaluation consistent with state and federal requirements
• Ability to build trust and bond with clients
• Ability to handle physical workload as indicated in your job description
