We get this question all the time: Do citronella candles actually work?

If you're seeing more spiders inside your home this spring, there's a reason for that. As temperatures warm up, spiders become more active and start moving indoors across Kansas.

Most of them are harmless. But Kansas is home to the brown recluse, and that's one you don't want to ignore. The brown recluse is small, light brown, and has a dark violin-shaped marking on its back. It prefers quiet, undisturbed spaces like closets, attics, basements, and storage boxes.

Common house spiders, on the other hand, are typically darker, build visible webs in corners and windowsills, and pose no real threat.
