🛸 On This Day in Paranormal History – June 16, 1963

On June 16, 1963, an Albuquerque, New Mexico man named Apolinar Villa claimed he met with extraterrestrials and photographed their craft after receiving what he described as a telepathic invitation. Villa said he drove to a predetermined location where a large disc-shaped craft landed and allowed him to take photographs. He reported meeting several humanoid beings, some over seven feet tall, who allegedly communicated both verbally and telepathically.

The photos became one of the more controversial UFO contactee cases of the 1960s. Believers considered them evidence of genuine extraterrestrial contact, while skeptics argued they were fabricated. Decades later, the images and story are still debated in UFO circles.
