Our ADA gangway and Accessible Kayak Launch with adaptive features provides universal access to all looking to connect with the water. What an amazing week at ! Thank you to everyone who visited our booth to learn more about and . We had great conversations with parks and recreation representatives about our waterfront infrastructure and the long-term value and unmatched access we provide to communities.

A special thank-you to our partners at Ability. Demonstrating the new boarding bench that we built together and seeing it in people’s hands (and listening to their feedback), was one of the highlights of the show! Two companies with one shared goal: Making the water more accessible to everyone!

BoardSafe is adding Creating Ability’s SideStep to our adaptive kayak launch, making the transition on and off the water safer, easier and more comfortable.

BoardSafeDocks believes in the details that make a real difference. Our latest collaboration with Creating Ability focuses on the wheelchair-to-kayak transition, a small change to the launch experience that means a lot to the people using it.

BoardSafeDocks and Creating Ability have collaborated and modified Creating Ability’s SideStep Bench so it can be attached to BoardSafe's Adaptive Kayak Launch.

Creating Ability designed the SideStep Bench to help wheelchair users move safely to and from low surfaces. This collaboration improves accessibility for those who need accommodations to enter their kayak and get out on the water. Our collaboration and commitment to removing barriers can be seen starting tomorrow in Philadelphia at the Convention Center. Look for BoardSafe and Creating Ability in Booth #2601.
