Restoration completed! Outside glazings replaced with new aluminum extrusion framing and new glass! So Beautiful!

It was a pleasure having everyone at the studio!

Today we were invited to visit Greenwood Stained Glass to see our rose window being revived (pictured top left)! In the rough sketch of the window (top right), you can see each of the pieces were numbered then they were removed individually, re-leaded, put back together, and meticulously cleaned. Donna made a rubbing (pattern) of the window then put it in water with Dawn detergent and a swimming pool agent for several days to clean off dirt and old lead. Finally, she uses a specialized cleaning agent to clean each window. Re-assembling the window and transporting it is a story for another day 😉
