POV: the sub door install goes exactly how it’s supposed to 😮‍💨

Custom cuts, checking the frame, making sure there are no gaps and leveling the new door before securing it in place. The details matter.

And that final shot? Yeah… round of applause for Enrique

On The Job 🎬

A quick checkback through Enrique’s POV.

Through the house, up the ladder and into the attic to check rodent traps 🪤 This time the trap was snapped with no catch. While it may look strange, not every snapped trap means a rodent was caught. Sometimes traps can be triggered by movement, placement, rodents brushing past them or other activity in the attic.

That’s why routine checkbacks matter. Enrique reset the trap, repositioned it and got everything ready for the next visit.

If you guessed scorpion, you’re right 🦂

These nocturnal hunters glow under UV light and usually hide in dark, quiet spaces during the day.

Did you guess it before the reveal? 👀

Not every rodent entry point is obvious! Some are hiding in plain sight 👀

Opossums are more unique than most people realize.

Opossums are the only marsupials native to North America, which means they carry and raise their babies in a pouch similar to kangaroos and koalas.

Baby opossums are tiny when they’re born and continue developing safely inside their mom’s pouch until she lets them out.

🚨 Client Tip Wednesday 🚨

Not every home is built the same and different home styles can come with different pest vulnerabilities.

In the South Bay, many homes have tile roofs, specifically Spanish tile roofs. While beautiful, these roofs can create countless access points for rodents.

Watch closely as Ben is able to fit a pen through one of the gaps 🧐 If a pen fits, a rodent can find a way too.

That doesn’t mean tile roofs are bad. It simply means it’s important to understand the potential entry points your specific home may have.

The more informed you are about your home’s construction, the better prepared you are to help prevent pest issues before they start.

📌 Save this post especially if you have a tile roof.

Warning: this one is not for the squeamish 🤢

For today’s Field Find, Joshua opened a bait station and found an unexpected surprise… a decomposed rodent inside. While bait stations aren’t designed to be traps, this can occasionally happen.

As wild as it sounds, this actually works in our favor. Rodents are naturally curious and follow scent trails, so the presence of a dead rodent can actually make the station even more attractive to others in the area.

Not the prettiest Field Find… but definitely an interesting one. Pest control gets weird sometimes. 🤢😂
