Foil is back in business and we are in our happy space 💗
Just a friendly reminder on what is expected of you as a client:
💗Please wait in your car. When you arrive at the salon please text or call your stylist to let them know you are here! If they don’t answer call the salon 8602014519. They will give you further instructions.
💗Upon entering please use the hand sanitizer on the makeshift front desk!
💗Please go directly to your stylist’s chair- we are playing musical chairs to follow proper social distancing guidelines, so wait until she tells you which station she is working at!
💗A mask MUST be worn at all times. Ear loop masks are the only ones we can work around, so please come prepared!
💗Only bring your keys, phone and wallet. No purses, no jackets, no sweatshirts. We do not have a waiting room and cannot accommodate any extra personal items at this time.
💗Only the client with an appointment will be allowed into the salon. Anyone who comes along with you will have to wait in the car.
💗No food or drink will be permitted in the salon and we are not allowed to offer anything at this time.
*if you have been exposed to anyone that has tested positive for covid in the last 14 days or you feel ill yourself- PLEASE STAY HOME!*
We have been missing everyone and can’t wait to have you in our chairs once again! The world has a lot of craziness going on in it, but we are asking you to please refrain from discussing politics and any of the negative stuff going on right now! We are just excited to get back to work and we need as much positive energy as possible, so let’s keep our discussions positive as well 🙂

Any questions regarding anything in this post, please ask your personal stylist! Can’t wait for all our wonderful clients to come get spoiled at Foil once again! 💕

Howdy everyone!! We have decided to open up June 8th, unless something drastic changes between now and then! Please DO NOT REACH OUT TO ME. I have 8+ weeks of clients to reschedule and I will be reaching out in the order that appointments were missed! It is only fair that I cater to those who had appointments booked 8 weeks ago first! I will do my best to accommodate everyone but let me remind you we are working at 50% capacity, which means I am working 3 days a week, so scheduling is going to be hard. There are also lots of procedures we both have to follow! If you cannot comply to any of the following, we will have to hold off on booking your appointment when the guidelines become less strict. I also want to be very clear when I say NO BIG CHANGES. I need to get everyone in for maintenance color and cut appointments and I have limited time to do so. Bear with me guys!

*Clients MUST wait in their car. Text me upon arrival and I will let you know when it is safe for you to come to the door.
*Clients MUST WEAR A MASK (ear loop masks) NO EXCEPTIONS!
*Client MUST COME ALONE. We are limited to ONE CLIENT AT A TIME. No friends, kids or family members allowed at your scheduled appointment.
*The waiting area is OFF LIMITS. No purses. No coats. No bulky sweatshirts. Dress appropriately for your appointment and bring ONLY YOUR KEYS, WALLET AND PHONE. Beverages and food WILL NOT be offered OR permitted.
*Clients MUST sanitize their hands when they enter and go directly to my chair. I may be taking temperatures upon arrival (not sure yet) You are expected to sit in my chair the entire duration of your appointment to reduce cross contamination.
*Blow drying will be limited!
*Transactions/rebooking will be done AT MY CHAIR and card payment will be preferred.

I know it seems like a lot to take in, but I promise everything is in place to keep everyone as safe as possible! We gave ourselves a couple extra weeks to make sure we can safely accommodate everyone and to implement the necessary changes to keep a clean and safe environment! Can’t wait to see you all masked up! 💕✌🏻

Ok, here goes nothin’...

The gals at Foil have decided to give ourselves a little more time to be truly prepared for pandemic pampering and we will be opening June 8th (unless instructed otherwise by our state officials). This gives us time to create a truly safe and social distanced work space. There are many guidelines we as stylists must follow but we also need your full cooperation as a client in order to move forward! The “new norm” will be a tough adjustment for everyone but we assure you every new rule that is implemented is to make sure we are keeping everyone as safe as possible.

Booking should be done through your stylist directly, but we have 2 months of clients to rebook on a limited schedule, so please be patient with your creative genius- she is doing her best to start booking now that we can move forward.

Some procedures we will be implementing:
• Clients MUST wait in their car. Text your stylist upon arrival and she will let you know when it is safe for you to come to the door.
• Clients MUST WEAR A MASK. If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, you will be asked to book at a later date. Every client must wear a mask (ear loop masks) NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Client MUST COME ALONE. We are working on an appointment only basis with each stylist limited to ONE CLIENT AT A TIME. No friends, kids or family members allowed during your scheduled appointment.
• Bring only your wallet, phone and keys in with you! ALSO- dress appropriately for your appointment as we do not have coat hooks or hangers available for sweatshirts at this time.
• Clients MUST sanitize hands as soon as they enter the salon, temperature might be taken and you will be escorted to your stylist’s chair.
• The waiting area is completely OFF LIMITS. You will be asked to remain in your stylist’s chair the ENTIRE service to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
• Transactions/rebooking will be done AT YOUR STYLIST’S CHAIR.

If you have any questions about the above, please speak to your stylist directly! We are looking forward to getting back to work and we can only do this with your full cooperation! We miss everyone and can’t wait to see you soon! 💕

PLEASE READ TO THE END:

So the governor has released the guidelines we must follow upon reopening, but has said they will revisit the idea of hair salons reopening in phase one because they just pulled out nail salons. This is why I originally said the date was tentative.

IF we do reopen on May 20th, the guidelines will be as follows.
• Clients will wait in their cars to be called into their appointment and must come ALONE.
• The waiting area will be closed and there will be no snacks, coffee or beverages provided OR permitted.
• Clients MUST wear a face mask. No mask, no service. Sorry 😐
• Stylists must wear masks with face shields or eye protection.
• BLOW DRYING IS PROHIBITED. We cannot blow dry your hair at all during this period.
• We will be operating at 50% capacity and following the guidelines of safe social distancing by having 2 stylists per shift and one client per stylist. NO exceptions.
• They have suggested contactless payment and you should bring only your wallet and keys inside.
• Limited conversation is also preferred.

There are a lot of stylists and clients that think the state should hold off a little longer on hair salons and we would like your feedback based on the guidelines that have been given to us for our tentative reopen. I didn’t list all of the sanitation that has to take place on top of all this, but with a shortage of disinfecting agents, it is going to be challenging to gather all of the necessary tools to reopen in less than 2 weeks. There is a meeting this week to decide whether or not the state thinks it is truly safe for us to reopen and we will keep you updated as information becomes available to us. Please let us know how you feel about these guidelines! We would love to hear your thoughts! 💕

To all of our loyal clients, here is the 4-1-1 on what will potentially be happening in the next few weeks! This is the first wave of information I will be providing on the subject of reopening, and updates will be provided along the way- so be sure to follow along and pay close attention! 💗

First off, we have been given the green light to TENTATIVELY open on May 20th. If the state continues on this downward slope, and it seems safe enough to soft open, we will follow the governor’s instructions to do so. Having said this, things may change and we don’t want to get our hopes up and start booking people right away.

I’m sure there will be insane restrictions moving forward to insure our safety as well as our client’s health and wellbeing. We haven’t been given any of the regulations we will have to follow at this time, but I promise as this information becomes available, I will be sharing it over the next few weeks.

Please bear with us during this! You have all been amazing and patient during this shut down period, but we have hundreds of appointments to reschedule, so please do not bombard your stylist begging for her first available appointment at this time. Scheduling may end up being even trickier depending on the state’s regulations, so give us some time to figure this all out! Your patience is appreciated more than ever while we sort out all potential scheduling issues!

Based on what the governor has said, this soft reopening will be appointment based only and we will be taking ALL rules and regulations very seriously. Check in often to see if we have any updates. We are very excited to get back to work, but we all need to be aware this may not be normal operation for, possibly, an extended period of time. We expect you will all be compliant with whatever protocol we put in place to make sure everyone stays safe!

We miss you all and are so appreciative of the constant outpouring of love and support you have all shown during this rough patch! Can’t wait to see you all! 😘
