CLARA LIVE 📈 Torrington Livestock Markets Posts Nation’s Top 8-Weight Sale, Multiple Barn History Highs During Wednesday Special

Torrington Livestock Markets in Torrington, Wyoming, held their Feeder & Calf Special on Wednesday with more than 1,800 head on offer and posted several standout sales. Torrington reported the highest 8-weight steer sale in the country Wednesday as 67 head averaging 810 lbs brought $399.00/cwt, setting a new barn record for 8-weights. The market also posted the second-highest 8-weight sale in the nation with 10 head averaging 834 lbs at $384.00, ranking as the 10th-highest 8-weight sale in barn history.

In the 9-weight division, 18 head averaging 904 lbs sold for $357.00, ranking as the third-highest 9-weight sale in barn history. Torrington also posted the second-highest 5-weight steer sale in the country Wednesday with 27 head averaging 539 lbs at $530.00/cwt and reported the top 4-weight steer sale in the nation.
